The ups and downs of the trust are a sign, of the behaviour of the species.

And sometimes, suddenly!, there is a burst of confidence; and the person trusts, trusts, trusts… almost furiously. And that same person, when time has passed -a time not too long-, begins to distrust, to be suspicious, to be suspicious, to be suspicious, until one does not trust anything of the same person.

Yes. Perhaps the personalised individualism and egotism of everybody makes that, in the beginning, as an instinct of species, they trust; people trust each other. But, little by little, as everybody has its sphere of power -no matter how small!-, they are going to begin to doubt the closest, the distant, the oldest… or to distrust any closeness.

Of course!, this may seem insignificant, without much importance, the product of natural events. But… no! It is not like this! Behind the mistrust comes the complaint -"complaint"-. And the complaint is a form of violence. And this results in the discussion.

Mistrust… complaint… discussion… We are already in the war, right?


Just as there exists nanoparticles, there are the 'Nano wars' that everybody is capable of triggering with this, with that, with the other… "I Don't Trust this, I don't trust him, I don't trust that…".

And the Praying Sense asks: if in everyday issues, mundane, of the species, of generations and generations and generations… "the reds do not trust the greens, the greens do not trust the whites, the whites do not trust the yellow"… how will be –asks the Praying Sense- the confidence that mankind is able to develop, as a species, in relation to the Mystery, to the Creation, the Divine…? What is the level of trust that we have towards what we create, keeps us, entertains us, generates us…? 

Before, and now less, the vehicle of religion was the substrate of the trust; and with that the man balanced, with its established prayers, waiting to earn the trust of God; not to trust in God, but that God trusts in us.

Heavy!, right?

The trust toward the Creation is not of the same nature as the trust we place in our environment. It has another nature: a nature that "does not allow" in quotation marks- complaint, discussion, justification… "war".

And, in fact, a significant proportion of abandonment of religion is due to this loss of trust, and the gain of the subject's trust in himself and in other circumstances "occasionally".

The moment has arrived in which the being feels self-sufficient, self-proclaimed…; you feel a "self"… where you are thinking that you do not need gasoline. And it is not a solar car, nor is it a quantum car … No.

And little by little, the religions were losing trust among there parishioners; because they were structures -and they are structures- rigid, hard, very far from the nature of the trust that is established between the Creation and the created.

Religious trusts -of "relegating", "uniting”- were increasingly concretizing in their representatives: priests… of various kinds. And to the extent that "humanly" lost trust, it also lost “the other Trust”.  In the end, the other never developed… rather he was a Muslim or Christian or Jew or Hindu or Maronite, because he knew someone who offered him confidence, but not enough to manage to transcend.

Obviously, evidently, the so-called “vocations” -which is good to call them as such, but given the level of distrust…- practically they are minimal for the priestly ministry. Minimum!

This loss of trust… driven by religions, usually does not generate a religious man that religates by himself, no, but rather tends to generate a vengeful, disheartened, sometimes desperate being… because it has lost the trust in all that it thought that it was going to receive as a bonus for its prayers or ceremonies or its fair part of rites and customs.

Other times it happened that there was a theoretical trust towards the Creation, but the being became, very demanding, faced with the human trust, with which it was hypercritical with any detail that was not to its liking of his or her appetite or consideration…; thus, it did not transcend, in the simplest sense: that is to say, from the most sublime, toward the most concrete and material.

And we do this exception because, usually, when speaking of "transcending", it is always spoken in a sense: from the most concrete, material and every day, towards the most ethereal and intangible. But the transcendental also works the other way: to the extent that I feel and live trust in the Creation, this helps my criteria of trust towards the environment.

"Persevere in the trust of your environment, and your environment will end up trusting you."

Because usually also, in the environment, the subject, in relation to other subjects, establishes its trust or distrust on the basis of the behaviour and the treatment that the other gives. But it is usually not asked what is the degree of trust that the other has toward us; or, if you ask, it doesn’t have a lot of value. Which, in addition to being a considerable discourtesy, only further increases the mistrust.

It may be that, as a result of the continued distrust of the environment, the being acquires a degree of trust towards the Creation, and towards the Mystery. It can be! And from there, with a special experience, can begin to trust again in that environment: people, animals, things… Everything!

It is not usual, but it must be taken into account… faced with the despair of the daily mistrust; because our nature needs the trust, to establish linkages and the vehicles that allow a structure of solidarity… more or less, but it requires that trust. It is part of its nature, because it belongs to life and life is an event of solidarity; trusted.

But this need of species, which is melting, is supported by a trust that has, in itself, life… towards the forces that made, that make possible!... the creation of life continually. It is not conscious, reasonable and logical trust; mysterious, unknown but… present trust.

And, with the Meaning of Prayer, we have the opportunity, the opportunity to awaken to that inevitable trust… and take it to a recognized awareness. And from there, to transcend into an awareness of the environment… which will fail you, which may not be what you want. And you will discover, by the way, that the world was not made for you; it was made, mysteriously, for… we are going to say "all" -without knowing what is "all"-.

And then we'll start to trust in another way: not on the basis of our principles and criteria, but on the basis of the respect for the identity of the other.

And so, if we respect the identity of the other, and the other, I won't have to put them a bell on so that it sounds like I want them to sound, but I will listen to the sound of the other. And I will like it more or less, it will attract me more or less… but, now, my system of trust will be established on the basis of the requirement that everybody needs from the other, recognizing previously the respect and the identity of the other.

As is well said: "By their actions you will know"

Well, we will know… -on the basis of the respect and acceptance of the identity of the others- we will know the acts and facts… without judging them; and, probably, we will develop a share of trust!... towards everything that surrounds us. A quota. And we will begin to trust this, this and that aspect. And the other aspects will not place our trust, but there will be no mistrust! Simply, in these other aspects there is not a relationship, there is not a communication, given that there is no harmony.

If we recovered a quota of trust! –a quota-… we will have a quality of relationships… frankly, evolutionary, capacitating and, without a doubt, comforting. That will also help us to liberate us of our schemes, of our demands and of our impositions.

Y tiene como referencia a la Creación, a las diferentes Fuerzas que nos animan sin entrar en ponerle un nombre u otro. La creencia de que la Oración es un elemento indispensable para nosotros, nos llevó a crear un espacio dedicado exclusivamente a la oración: “La Casa del Sonido de la Luz”, un lugar situado en el País Vasco , en Vizcaya, en la estructura de un caserío. Allí se realizan encuentros orantes y jornadas de retiro.


“La Casa del Sonido de la Luz” ARGI DOINU ETXEA se encuentra en la localidad de Ea, Vizcaya. Un espacio abierto para los alumnos de la Escuela Neijing, los cuales pueden realizar estancias de 1 a 5 días.
